1987 Introduction of the first Quinx Shop floor Network (at that time the company's name was MAP Informatik).

1988 Innovation: First machine tool networking with Quinx Shop floor Network.

1992 Foundation of Quinx AG. Introduction of the Ethernet version of Quinx network, Ethernet adapter with serial interface.

1992 Innovation: "DNC without terminal", DNC1000 (DOS). Direct data access from keyboard of control.

1995 Development of the new DNC3000 - the first Windows 32-Bit based DNC solution.

1996 Innovation: Introduction of DNC3000 - first Network-DNC with the 3 characteristics of Quinx DNC systems.

1998 Innovation: Quinx DNC-In-The-Box - smart DNC adapter with embedded DNC software, for all CNCs.

1999 Introduction of DNC4000 - 2nd generation of network-DNC under Windows 32-Bit; based on full support of DNC-In-The-Box.

2000 Introduction of MDC/MM, the first fully network-based MDC system (Machine Data Collection).

2001 Innovation: Introduction of SCD - Smart Communication Device; network adapter for DNC/MDE with integrated serial line analyzer and soft-configurable pin layout

2003 Innovation: DNC5000 First Windows .NET worldwide - 3rd generation of network-DNC, compatible to older versions.

2006 Innovation: RDM5000 - first runtime-driven Maintenance system
