FTPClient for Windows Controls
FTPClient for Windows Network Machines
Network Protocols used by Network Controls
Every day a new network-based control comes to market with its own operating concept which includes also data transfer to and from the company's server. But the different vendors also use different techniques, different operating systems and different network protocols. While the japanese vendors often use FTP as transfer protocol, the european vendors either use SMB/Netbios (Windows) or NFS in case of Linux/Unix. these protocols work perfectly but they have the handicap that a central logging of load transactions becomes difficult. |
