This idea has been implemented for your expensive machinery with our RDM5000. M aintenance staff no longer has to read the counters for the machines and calculate when next service is due - RDM5000 does this and points in time when next service is due, early enough to plan the intervention on the machines without stopping production.
Supposed the service is due on your car with 30'000 km, would you change the oil already when 20'000 km are reached? --- No doubt, you wouldn't! Too early changed creates costs, too late may cost you even more!
RDM5000 counts the run hours of all your machines, informs you when service is due and sends an alarm when it's overdue. It creates work orders, lists all needed materials, stores manuals and work reports, checklists and keeps books about costs and parts.

RDM5000
is an advanced variation of an MPS (Maintenance Planning System) that keeps control of machines and assets either by fixed maintenance intervalls or by their actual run time. All information about run time is deliverd by the network adapters, so that the maintenance staff is completely discharged from monitoring ang planning work.
Maintenance of the different machinery and sub-assemblies is entered once in the RDM5000 system as well as all documents (manuals, graphics, digital pictures, checklists, etc.) that belong to a machine or machine group. All executed work orders and the accrued costs are centrally documented and stored in the RDM5000.
Machine status information is clearly arranged on the screen so that the responsible can see at a glance on which machine which sercie is due. He can plan in time and react if a maintenance is urgent or even a machine is standing still and needs immediate repair.
RDM5000 enables Just-in-time Maintenance - always when really necessary, never too early and never too late. This helps you optimize your maintenance costs, avoids costly machine damage and extends the life of your machines. Planning is done only once - RDM5000 automatically reminds when and which parts of the machine need to be serviced.
RDM5000 is client/server application and is used in medium and large machine shops. All SCD-DM and SCD-II network adapters enable capturing machine data. RDM5000 therefore is the ideal enhancement for customers with DNC5000 or MTM/MDC in use. It also can be used independently from other Quinx applications.
