It required much effort until now, when someone wanted to integrate older Mazatrol controls into a DNC system. Short program numbers, different transfer modes, time-critical behavior of the different generations of controls and the non-documented transfer protocol made it not easy to integrate the Mazak machines into DNC.

Using the new DNC box for Mazak that dynamically switches the protocol when transferring ISO or Mazatrol programs, all these problems are resolved. You will be able to call all your programs right from the control and store store them on the computer using 11 - 40 characters long names! This is true for all other controls and the following Mazatrol controls:

- M/T-2, 3, 4
- M/T-32
- M/T-Plus

The new PC-based Mazatrol controls, such as 640 M/T and Matrix are equipped with an internal Ethernet adaptor. Therefore, integration into a DNC system is quite trouble-free. But managing access rights for the operators and program stroage is still related with some problems that are resolved with this new, powerful FTPClient software that allows to use Mazak control's softkeys. The FTPClient supports the following Mazak controls:

- 640-M/T (Windows 95)
- Matrix (Windows XP)
