MTM/MDC covers three areas:
Machine Tool Monitoring
MDC/MTM is also a machine tool monitoring system that provides a maximum of information on machines and their productivity, with a minimum of effort. The system allows you to recognize bottlenecks and malfunctions quickly so that you can take remedial actions immediately.
Using MDC/MTM, all authorized users can do the following work:
- Online Machine Tool Monitoring
- Automatic Machine Data Collection
- Semi-automatic Production Data Collection
Capture of machine signals
Status changes of the machine are captured by the Quinx adapters via digital signal-input and are immediately communicated to the MDC system. The MDC server automatically actualises all client PCs via network with every change of situation. Additionally, downtime reasons and new orders can be communicated with different communication devices right from the machine operators panel.
